The guitar reaches this melody after a very long developpement of slow and dark percussion exchange, punctuated with oriental harp phrases. The melodic moment should introduce a break in a so slow and dark atmosphere… The harp and the guitar quote for some seconds a theme called “Scarlet Woman”, taken from Weather Report‘s “Mysterious Traveller“, whose deep jazz explorations remains a major inspiration for me.
