Those I Left Behind

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Those I Left Behind is a nostalgic tune, with the eyes looking through the two sides of the mirror : the contemplation of the prime world out of the city, and the memories of the urban jungle and its loss : other humans.

Anguish

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Anguish is a noisy track for a noisy urban world with incursions of a repetitive guitar pattern expressing the unquiet and partially conscious desire of something else. Among other sounds, is the dark deep bass drum pulse an image of the city’s pulse ? Or of the imaginary traveller’s life, or the listener’s heartbeat itself ? And does all these noises reveal a friendly world ?

Cold, Bright and Quiet

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Cold, Bright and Quiet achieves the journey with open sounds and improvisations. After a long ambient first part filled with the noises and feelings of those living beyond the harmful urban atmosphere, comes the improvisation space for guitar and bass over percussions. There are rythms, life and feelings, far beyond the metal and the concrete.

Inverted Twilight

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Inverted Twilight leads to the boundaries of a new world during a very long sound sweep as if the final light rays of the twilight could become the glow of a new dawn, elsewhere, like a finally unfolding life, encountering so long awaited beings, softly raising in the music like the most natural things.

Stoned and Blurred

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Stoned and Blurred wonders if drugs could anaesthetize stress, anguish and despair of this urban existence. The very first moment of the track figures a flash and its following numbness, followed by a feeling of space and lightness where an obessive little melody remains and grows as the effect of the drug starts vanishing… Then returns moods we’ve already heard about…

Stress

by on Dec.06, 2009, under Listen

Stress opens the album with electonic percussions and distorted guitars in a metal fashion way. Its mood relates to industrial nightly surroundings, deserted factories where gather people wishing to forget their loneliness and also maybe emptiness with movement, dance, strange encounters and aggressive music.
